ID at the Polls

Arizona law requires every voter to show identification before receiving a ballot at an in-person voting location.

List 1 — Show one photo ID

One valid form of photo identification with your name and address matching your voter registration record:

Valid Arizona driver license
Valid Arizona non-operating identification card
Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
Valid U.S. federal, state, or local government-issued identification

List 2 — Show two non-photo IDs

Two different forms of identification with your name and address matching your voter registration record:

Utility bill dated within 90 days of the election (electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cellular phone, or cable television)
Bank or credit union statement dated within 90 days of the election
Valid Arizona vehicle registration
Indian census card
Property tax statement of your residence
Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
Arizona vehicle insurance card
Voter registration card (Recorder's Certificate)
Valid U.S. federal, state, or local government-issued identification
Any mailing addressed to you marked "Official Election Material"

List 3 — Show one photo ID plus one non-photo ID

One item from each column if your photo ID doesn't list your current address:

Any valid photo ID from List 1 in which the address does not match your voter registration record, together with one non-photo item from List 2 whose address does match
U.S. passport (no address) together with one item from List 2
U.S. military identification (no address) together with one item from List 2

Don't have ID with you?

You can still vote a conditional provisional ballot. For your ballot to count, show acceptable identification at your county recorder's office by the deadline after the election — 5 business days after an election that includes a federal race, or 3 business days after any other election.
